The Manchu script is a vertically written, connected alphabet adapted historically from the Mongolian writing tradition. Letters can change form by position and context, so learning isolated symbols alone is not enough. A durable method combines alphabet charts, initial-medial-final forms, syllable practice, connected words, and actual reading.
